PANAJI: Goa police launched special tenant and house help verification drive in all police stations of North Goa District. During this drive, Special camps were put up by North District Police staff in all major market areas of North Goa such as . The list of places where these camps were put up is as Brittona in Porvorim PS jurisdiction, Anjuna & Siolim in Anjuna PS jurisdiction, Panaji market in Panaji PS jurisdiction, Valpoi market in Valpoi PS jurisdiction, Bodkewaddo, Calangute in Calangute PS jurisdiction, Palyem in Mandrem PS jurisdiction, Bicholim market in Bicholim PS jurisdiction, Dhargal in Pernem PS jurisdiction, Cumbharjua, Corlim & Old Goa in Old Goa PS jurisdiction, Voilem Bhat, Near Datta Mandir & Lourdes Convent School, aligao in Saligao PS jurisdiction, Sodiem-Siolim in Mapusa PS jurisdiction, Airport Labour Colony & Patradevi in Mopa Airport PS jurisdiction, IDC Tivim, Binani, Madel Tiivim, Camurlim, Pirna & Colvale in Colvale PS jurisdiction and Near Grand Hyatt Bambolim in Agacaim PS jurisdiction.
The intention behind these camps is to reach out to maximum number of people, so as to ensure that there is 100% Police verification of Tenant, labourers and house Help. A close co-ordination is also being maintained with the Market Welfare Associations to ensure that there is more active public and police co-operation in all high footfall areas of North District. It is being planned that every week new such areas will be used for more active public and police partnership.
It is emphasis that during this year up till September 28, 27718 Tenants have been verified and 11068 House Help have already been verified.
