
Sarkar Tumcha Daari (Government at your doorstep) is not a political stunt but the Government’s initiative to reach out to every citizen of Goa and resolve their issues. This programme designed to deliver various Government schemes and services under one roof asserted Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant.
He was speaking at a function of ‘Sarkar Tumchya Dari ‘ programme for Sanquelim Constituency at Government College Sanquelim today.
Chief Minister further said I have completed 2.5 years as Chief Minister and in this period I have worked round the clock for the betterment of Goa. Highlighting Government Schemes and other facilities, Chief Minister said we have more than 63 Departments and each Department have various Welfare schemes and facilities for citizens but most of people are unaware about it. The initiative like Sarkar Tumcha Daari program will help to make people aware of various schemes. He reiterated Government’s commitment towards providing basic infrastructure and facilities to the citizens and while celebrating 60 years of Goa liberation our government will provide all the besic facilities to the people, he remarked.
The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister has launched several schemes with an aim to give better life and financial support to the people and make every citizens Swayampurna. He said in the history, Prime Minister will interact with all the Swayampurna Mitra’s and Sarpanch via Video conference for the first time. All the Swayampurna Mitra’s will take the feedback of Sarkar Tumcha Daari programme from the public, he remarked.
Principal Finance Secretary Shri Punit Kumar Goel, Revenue Secretary Shri. Sanjay Kumar IAS, Addl.Collector North Goa Ms Mamu Hage IAS were among those prominent persons present on the occasion.
Principal Finance Secretary Shri Punit Kumar Goel congratulating Chief Minister for successful completing one year on Swayampurna Goa mission said Chief Minister has taken good initiative to reach out to every citizen of Goa to resolve every issues faced by them he added. The inaugural programme was followed by felicitation of senior citizens under Azadi ka Amrit Mahostav. Cheques of Financial Assistance towards COVID victims’ families, gas and cilinder for BPL card holder under Goa Gramin Urja Yojana, Cheque of R.DA funds to S.H.G members were distributed on the occasion. Chief Minister Dr. Sawant also had a meeting with Swayampurna Mitra’s appointed under Swayampurna Goa of Sanquelim Constituency and reviewed the work done in each Panchayat. After taking note of all the issues faced by Swayampurna Mitra’s and Sarpanch to carry out development work in their respective Panchayat areas Chief Minister urged all the communidade members to provide land to build developmental projects in their areas. Government have taken various initiatives to make Goa Swayampurna and to make this initiative successful in infrastructure development and human development all associations, Communidade, Schools, has to coordinate with Panchayat to make their village Swayampurna, he added
Chief Minister also felicitated the winners of 32nd Goa State sub junior, junior and senior aquatic swimming Championships.
Later, Chief Minister inaugurated two initiatives by the AtalIncubation Centre-Goa Institute of Management (AIC-GIM) Foundation in collaboration with Climate Collective Foundation(CCF) that is the Hub-CE (Climate Entrepreneurship) at Goa, India’s first dedicated centre for promoting Collaboration & Entrepreneurship in the Climate & Environment sector. Hub-CE will create a physical ecosystem to promote and support innovation in the Climate and Environment Sector. Hub-CE will support local entrepreneurs and startups and also attract the community across India and World from climate sector to Goa. Second was the launch of ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) Startup Week, aimed at building an ecosystem for Sustainability and Social Impact Startups and sensitizing people across Goa on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and sustainability.
