PERNEM POLICE HOLD MEETING TO CREATE AWARENESS AMONG PEOPLE ON COVID-19
PERNEM: The Pernem Police held a meeting in order to create awareness regarding tackling of COVID-19 pandemic in tourist season.
The meeting was held for management of major hotels, resorts and restaurants around Pernem, Arambol and Mandrem area in the wake of tourists visiting Goa while the COVID-19 pandemic is still around.
Pernem PI Jivba Dalvi holds meeting with hotel owners and managers on COVID-19 at Pernem.
Pernem PI Jivba Dalvi informed that the management staff including the owners of major establishments were called for the meeting. They were handed over an advisory aimed at tackling the COVID-19 pandemic. The managements were also directed to follow all safety procedures and measures required to prevent the spread of the virus.
The advisory contains various methods required for prevention and containment of virus in case if a COVID positive patient is detected.
A total of 32 owners/managers attended the meeting while all hotels and establishments have been handed over the advisory.
PI Dalvi informed that meanwhile Pernem Police have been consistently booking people for not wearing masks in public places. A total of 1885 people have been booked for not wearing face masks by the Pernem Police.
PI Dalvi has requested all the locals and the owners/management of all establishments to follow the advisory strictly and cooperate with the police in order the fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
