The 5th Installation Ceremony of JCI Bardez Bandhan was held with great enthusiasm and dignity on 1st March 2026 at Sanjay Centre for Special Education, Porvorim. The evening marked a proud milestone as JC Sweta Chari was officially installed as the President for the year 2026, along with her newly appointed Local Governing Board.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome by the Masters of Ceremony, followed by the Call to Order by the outgoing President, JFM Sweety Volvoikar. Members recited the JCI Creed and Mission Statement, reaffirming their commitment to leadership and service. In her annual report, President Sweety highlighted impactful community projects, leadership initiatives, and growth milestones achieved in 2025. She was later felicitated for her outstanding tenure and announced as the newly appointed Zone Director – Growth & Development.
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Chief Guest Dr. Minakshi Martins; Guest of Honour JFM Adv. Mamta Naik; Guest of Honour SMT Geeta Parab; Special Invitee Rahila Khan; and Assigned Zone Vice President JFD Chetan Salelkar. Their inspiring addresses encouraged members to continue creating meaningful change in society.
The installation oath was administered to President JC Sweta Chari, who pledged to uphold the values and constitution of JCI. In her acceptance speech, she expressed heartfelt gratitude and shared her vision for a dynamic and impactful 2026 focused on youth empowerment, community development, and leadership excellence.
New members were inducted during the ceremony, strengthening the organization’s commitment to positive action. The evening concluded with a vote of thanks, National Anthem, and fellowship dinner, setting the tone for a purposeful and inspiring year ahead.
