CHENNAI: Goa Hockey is poised to make its mark at the prestigious 14th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship 2024, scheduled to take place at the International Stadium in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, from November 4th to 15th, 2024.
Drawn in Pool G, Goa will face stiff competition from Jharkhand, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. The team’s inaugural match against Jharkhand is set for November 6th at 2 PM. The selection camp of Goa team was conducted in Peddem astro turf ground.
Coach Riyaz Kambali expressed confidence in his team’s ability to perform at the highest level. “Our players are eager to showcase their skills against some of the top hockey talent in the country. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to prove their mettle on a big stage,” he said.
