PANAJI: The Gawada Kunbi Velip and Dhangar Federation (GAKUVED) has thanked Water Resource Minister Filipe Nery Rodrigues for revoking the suspension order of six WRD staff working at Chapolim Dam service area, in connection with alleged shooting of obscene video by a model and actor Poonam Pandey.

Earlier, on 9th November the  GAKUVED Federation had given memorandum to the WRD executive engineer, Aquem, Salcete and agitated in front of his office and had questioned him and also gave two days’ time to revoke the suspension order of six WRD staff.

Futher the Federation delegation had also met Deputy Speaker Isidore Fernandes on 9th November and briefed him the injustice done to the six WRD staff by suspending them at no fault of them.
