Publication of electoral rolls is the first important event in any election management calendar. All those who have filled the form until the last day of nomination can get their names added in the Electoral Roll, asserted District Magistrate and District Election Officer North Goa District Shri. Ajit Roy IAS.
He was speaking at the function held to release the final publication of the electoral roll, today at Surendrababu Timblo Convention Hall at Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Panaji.
Also present were Deputy Collector, (Revenue/DRO) Shri. Ajay Gaude, Joint Director Information and Publicity Shri. Kedar Naik, Deputy Collector North Goa District Shri. Shubham Naik (Election) representatives of various parties, APROs, BLOs, and other dignitaries.
Shri. Ajit Roy IAS appreciated and thanked all the important stakeholders like representatives of political party workers, AEROs RO’s, BLOs, and Nodal officers for their contribution in the work of preparation of electoral roll.
The formal function began with the lighting of the lamp and welcome address by Deputy Collector, (Revenue/DRO) Shri. Ajay Gaude.
