Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that Government will soon start Telemedicine services for the people of Goa.
Chief Minister was speaking after inaugurating Health and Wellness Centre at Ribandar in the distinguished presence of Health Minister Shri Vishwajit Rane, Shri Atanasio Monserrate and CCP Mayor Shri Rohit Montserrate at Ribandar today.
Chief Minister said that with the inauguration of the Health and Wellness Centre at Ribandar the long pending demand of the people of Ribandar and it’s peripheries has been accomplished. Appreciating the efforts put in by Shri Montserrate, and Health Minister said that Ribandar Health Centre is the first centre in the State where all the services will be integrated with Directorate of Health, Goa Medical College and Goa Dental College.
Dr. Sawant said with the starting of Telemedicine services, people will get facilities in Health Centres. People should make good use of the tele consultation with the Goa Medical College which is a Apex Hospital of the State the Chief Minister added.
Dr Sawant said Government is working seriously for providing health facilities and added that my government has started post Covid treatment cell to treat complications and further investigation in this direction.
Minister for Health, Shri Rane said that with the inauguration of Health Centre at Ribandar the vision of Atanasio Monserrate is fulfilled. He said people of Ribandar and it’s peripheries are now assured of round the clock medical services in the Health Centre. He said the Government has done a lot of work for the people of Goa under the leadership of the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and is trying to bring the best of infrastructure, technology, innovations in the field of health sector.
Shri Atanasio Montserrate, MLA thanked Chief Minister and Health Minister for setting up of state of art technology and providing medical facilities in the Health Centre.
