The Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant has extended his warmgreetings and best wishes to the children of Goa on the occasion of Children’s Day.
The CM in his message has said that Children’s Day commemorates the birth anniversary of Former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
The CM said, “The day is of great importance for giving love, attention and affection to the children. The children of today will make the India of tomorrow, as they are the future pillar and leaders of this country. The way we bring them up will decide the future of our State and the country”.
The celebration of Children’s day teaches us several values. It is a call to protectour little ones from any harm, to save them from the negativity and to train them for the rapid changing and challenging world.
“I once again wish all the children a very happy Children’s Day and convey my blessings to all the little ones,” the CM concluded.
