Panaji: Bharatiya Janata Party’s failed Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadanavis should first accept a fact that his party has failed to produce any formidable leader due to which it has to poach the faces from other parties before calling other political outfits as “part time,” Goa Congress Spokesman Rakhi Prabhudessai Naik said.
Naik said that BJP has failed to produce leader within its rank for last ten years due to which it has to be dependent on non-BJP ideology faces, poaching into other parties.
“Fadanavis should first realise the fact that he has lost power in Maharashtra to so-called part time parties and is now left with the post of Leader of Opposition,” Naik said.
While making statements in Goa, Fadanavis should sit back and dwell upon how his party, from being minority, is now having majority MLAs by inorganic growth, she said.
Naik said that BJP, like a parasite, depended on other parties for its survival. “Even now when elections are nearing, it has no leaders of its own and is importing faces with the fear of being reduced to single digit after next polls,” she said.
BJP should be derecognized as a party as it has no base of its own, while it banks on the borrowed leaders. “Minus bags of money, BJP has nothing to offer,” she said adding that Fadanavis should not have had a face to address gathering of women after unsuccessfully protesting its sex-scandal tainted minister Milind Naik.
“Sex, Tax and Job scams have ripped the party into pieces and still Fadanavis is showing a brave face, just because he is assigned the job to be in Goa,” she said.
Naik said that Congress has been into public life much before BJP existed and continues to don the heart of the people. “Fadanavis should not forget that this is the same so-called part time party which won on majority seat in the year 2017. It is the same party, which will pull rug below the feet of BJP in the coming election.”
