  3. 5-Day Yoga Camp Concludes at Durgamata Mandir, Davorlim

“Birth and death are decided by God. Parents are merely the medium — मधली व्यवस्था ही परमेश्वर करतो. Very few people understand this truth and unnecessarily interfere in life, which leads to stress, tension and worries. One must trust in God, surrender completely and express gratitude. Yoga is not merely exercise but a way of life. It is a precious gift to mankind and must be practised daily. Regular practice of Asanas, Pranayama and Meditation can transform one’s life, attitude towards society and help in self-analysis.”

These enlightening words were expressed by Dr. Shripad Vagurmeker, Managing Director of Grace Pathology Lab and a noted social worker, while speaking as the Chief Guest at the concluding function of the Free 5-Day Yoga Camp held at Durgamata Mandir, Davorlim. The camp was organised by Patanjali Yog Samiti, Margao, in association with Bharat Swabhiman, Margao and Durgamata Mandir Trust.

Earlier, Mr. Dayanand Chodankar, President of Bharat Swabhiman Trust, Margao, welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Sangeeta Devidas and Mrs. Nilima Panguinker felicitated the dignitaries with floral offerings.

The camp was successfully organised through the dedicated efforts of Mrs. Maya Falari, Mr. Raghuchandra Bandekar, Mrs. Rajasee Gawas and Dr. Vasundhara Desai.

Mr. Vishwanath Swar and Mrs. Vibha Swar shared their enriching experiences of attending a yoga camp at the Patanjali Wellness Centre, Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

The main resource person for the camp was Mr. Rama Naik, who conducted various yoga sessions throughout the five days. Around 32 participants actively took part in the camp.

The programme was compered by Mr. Vishwanath Swar, while Mr. Rama Naik proposed the vote of thanks.
