Vibrant Goa Foundation, under its Global Knowledge Outreach initiative, organized an Educational Round Table with a high-level delegation from Zimbabwe on the 8th of September.

The Zimbabwean delegation was led by Mr. Moses Mhike, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, along with Mrs. Olicah Kaira, Chief Director – Primary, Secondary and Non-Formal Education, and Mrs. Ashell Ruswa, CEO of Errymaple Group of Schools, Zvishavane. The delegation’s Goa visit was coordinated by Mr. Yogesh Kerkar, MD – Qurious Minds.

Representing Vibrant Goa Foundation were trustees Mr. Rajkumar Kamat, Mr. Arman Bankley, Mr. Manoj Patil, Mr. Vinay Verma, Mr. Rasik Naik, Mr. Dinesh Dhulapkar, Mr. Ajay Gramopadhya, Mr. Gautam Kharangate and Mr. Milind Anvekar. The Round Table also saw participation from leading academic institutions of Goa including Goa University, Dhempo College, MES College, Directorate of Higher Education, Don Bosco College of Engineering, Goa Institute of Management, Government Polytechnic and others.

The deliberations focused on exchanging ideas, best practices, and exploring collaboration opportunities. The Zimbabwean delegation expressed appreciation for Goa’s initiatives in enhancing technology adoption at the school level and acknowledged Vibrant Goa Foundation’s efforts in fostering global knowledge partnerships. They highlighted areas of interest such as EdTech, STEM, GIS, Robotics, Drones, Learning Management Systems, and ICT solutions where they are keen to explore solutions and partnerships.

Importantly, the delegation also took note of the recent Amazing Goa Summit, which was hailed as a resounding success in positioning Goa as a hub for innovation, education, and entrepreneurship. The event set the stage for meaningful international engagements such as this Zimbabwean visit.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Moses Mhike conveyed satisfaction over the visit and emphasized the clear opportunities and synergies between Zimbabwe and Goa to take this relationship forward. Adding to this momentum, it was highlighted that Qurious Minds has already initiated collaboration with a Zimbabwean company, underscoring the tangible business outcomes that are emerging from these engagements.

Mr. Rajkumar Kamat summarized the productive roundtable and extended an invitation to the Zimbabwean delegation to participate in the upcoming Global Tech Summit and Global Business Expo & Summit 2026.

This initiative marks a significant step towards creating pathways for Goan businesses, startups, and educational institutions to engage with global partners, driving innovation and entrepreneurship in the education sector.
