The meritorious students from Porvorim constituency those who have passed 10th and 12th standard with flying colors in the examination conducted by the Goa Board of Education in March-April 2025 will be felicitated by Porvorim Rising on Sunday, June 21. The Department of Tourism, Information Technology and Electronics and Communication Minister Shri. Rohan Ashok Khaunte will be the chief guest at the felicitation ceremony.
Deputy Director of Education, Shri. Manoj Sawaikar will guide the students as the chief speaker at this function. The program will start at 4 pm on June 21 at the Succore Panchayat Hall.
Porvorim Rising Trust has been continuously organizing various activities for the betterment of the society and the felicitation ceremony of meritorious students is one of them. This felicitation ceremony is organized every year with the aim of inspiring the students to achieve greater success.
Students who have passed the 10th and 12th exams with more than 75 % marks are felicitated in this ceremony. This program is organized also to inspire other students while felicitating the meritorious students. Tourism Minister and Porvorim MLA Shri. Khaunte had announced the idea of this initiative and had implemented it.
Students who have scored more than 75% marks in 10th and 12th grades from Succore, Salvador De Mund and Penha de Franca Panchayat are eligible for this felicitation ceremony.
Porvorim Rising has appealed to all the students, parents and teachers to attend this ceremony in large numbers.
