Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao on Tuesday made Zero Hour mention about Primary School in Navelim-Salcete, wherein students urinate outside the school as there is no toilet or washroom.
Congress leader Yuri Alemao demanded immediate maintenance and repairs of this primary school and to make provision of toilet.
“Repair work is required to the false ceiling of some classrooms of the Government Primary School, Navelim in Salcete Taluka as there is danger of the ceiling blocks crumbling posing threat to school children and teachers. The school was renovated around six months earlier,” Alemao pointed out.
He said that as there is no facility of toilet or washroom in the school, the students are forced to urinate outside the school.
“The smaller students even urinate in the class. A toilet or washroom block be provided on a war-footing,” he demanded.
