Goa’s homegrown Decor and Event Management Company M/s Vinayak Decorators has been honored with the “Special Creative Art Director Award” at the recently concluded 10th, 11th, and 12th edition of Goa State Film Festival 2025.
The award was presented to Smt. Nutan Vinayak Dessai by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, during the festival’s award ceremony.
Managed successfully by Sidhesh Dessai, M/s Vinayak Decorators has established itself as a leading creative agency in Goa for planning, organizing, conceptualizing, decor, and event management. Sidhesh and his team have played a crucial role in executing many of the State’s most iconic events, including the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and the Purple Festival for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). They have also executed events for various other states such as Maharashtra, Delhi, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Kolkata, Karnataka, Meghalaya, and Gujarat.
Furthermore, the company has recently received national recognition for its artistry. Under Sidhesh Dessai’s leadership, an all-Goan team curated Republic Day parade floats for the state of Arunachal Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, which showcased the cultural heritage of these states with Goan craftsmanship. These floats were also displayed at the Bharat Parv Exhibition at Red Fort, Delhi, from January 26 to 31, 2025, an event organized by the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India.
This dual recognition, both at the Goa State Film Festival and on the National Republic Day stage, highlights Vinayak Decorators’ increasing contribution to promoting Goan talent and creativity across India.
