
As part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations, Vedanta Sesa Goa-Iron Ore Goa hosted the Inter-School Independence Day Quiz Competition 2025 for high school students from Maem, Bicholim, Piligao, Mulgao, and Sirigao. The event aimed to encourage young minds to enhance their knowledge about India’s history, culture, and freedom struggle while fostering healthy competition and teamwork.
A total of 8 enthusiastic teams representing various schools took part in the contest, with Shri Shantadurga High School securing first place, followed by Ideal High School and Radhakrishna Vidyalaya High School. The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Dhirajkumar Jagdish, Dy CEO, IOG, Santosh Mandrekar, Head-North & Central Cluster, IOG, alongside other members from the senior leadership team at Iron Ore Goa.
