In a clash of two titans in the Poirem constituency, young and old ideologies go neck to neck as the Ranes eye for the win. While Rane announced his candidature for Congress, junior Rane Vishwajeet didn’t mince his words of advice for his father. He suggested that his father must gracefully retire after 50 years of service instead of the battle field. It’s going to be messy, he said, and observed a generational shift. Congress he said is a bankrupt party that has been eradicated from Goa. Given his involvement in the constituency for the past 20 years, Vishwajeet is confident of a win.
