District Election Officer (DEO) North, for Assembly Constituency (AC) 1 to 19 North has notified the date and time for following category of absentee voters i.e. Senior Citizen (above 80 years of age), Persons with Disability (PwD) flagged in the electoral roll, Covid-19 suspect or affected persons and Absentee Voters on Essential Services (AVES)

For voters above 80 years of age, PwD and Covid-19 Category voting through Postal Ballot (PB) are scheduled from February 5, 2022 to February 13, 2022, from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

For AVES Category voting is scheduled from February 9, 2022, to February 11, 2022 from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. at the below mentioned Postal Voting Centers (PVC) i.e. for Assembly Constituency (AC) 01-Mandrem, PVC is GS, Chonsai Pernem, Post No. 37, for AC 02- Pernem, PVC is Asst. District Education Director, Conference Hall, Pernem, for AC 06-Siolim PVC is  Community Hall Village Panchayat Anjuna Caisua Bardez, for AC 07-Saligao, PVC is GPS,  Cottula, Saligao, for AC 11-Panaji, PVC is Mutation Room/Cell Mamlatdar Office, Tiswadi, for AC 18-Poriem, PVC is Deputy Collector’s Office and AC 19-Valpoi, PVC is Deputy Collector’s Office,

DEO has further mentioned that the above absentee voters who have applied for postal ballot facility as on cutoff date January 26, 2022 and the list of the above absentee voters whose application under form 12D have been received in time and are in order, have been prepared by respective ROs, and now the process of delivery of postal ballot paper to and voting by the above referred absentee voters will commence.

Separate teams of polling officers will be visiting the registered address of the absentee voters in the category voters above 80 years of age, PwD and Covid-19 Category, as informed by the Department of Information and Publicity.
