  3. DB Grounds Fully Restored After Cashew Fest 2025: GFDC

The Goa Forest Development Corporation (GFDC) wishes to inform the public and media that the DB Grounds, which hosted the successful Goa Cashew Fest 2025 on 17th and 18th May, have now been fully cleared and restored. The festival concluded just one day before the onset of heavy rains and an incoming cyclone, which temporarily hindered post-event clean-up operations due to the ground being submerged and logistical challenges. These unexpected weather conditions made it difficult for the concerned authorities and ground teams to immediately clear the venue of all festival-related materials and debris.

However, as of today, the DB Grounds have been completely cleared, ensuring that the space is safe, clean, and free from any residual waste. Our top priority remains the preservation of the environment and the upkeep of public surroundings. We are committed to maintaining public spaces with the utmost responsibility and ensuring that large-scale events are conducted in harmony with Goa’s natural surroundings. We thank the public for their patience and understanding, and extend our gratitude to the sanitation teams and authorities who worked diligently despite weather constraints to restore the grounds.
