
Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant reiterating Government’s commitment to work for the betterment of the people and it’s our responsibility to reach out to every citizen of Goa and urged the people to support and contribute to make Goa Swayampurna Mission successful
He was speaking after inaugurating the Government’s major outreach programme Sarkar Tumchya Dari (Government at your doorstep) for Pernem and Mandrem Constituency at Kamleshwar Higher Secondary Korgao.
Urging the people to come forward and work with the government to make Goa “Swayampurna” Dr. Sawant informed that the government has uploaded various schemes on the Government portal for the welfare of people. The aim of this Sarkar Tumchya Dari programme is to provide services to the people of Goa under one roof. To make today’s program successful various Departments are present to make awareness of various schemes and facilities provided by the Government. This programme will not give 100% results but surely at least 50% will benefit directly, he asserted.
The Chief Minister said Swayampurna Mitra can directly coordinate with the concerned Head of the Department to take forward the pending development work in their respective Panchayat area.
Dy Chief Minister Manohar Azgaokar appreciating the achievements of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said Goa Government is working for the betterment of the people even during the tough times with covid 19 pandemic, cyclone, floods.
MLA Shri. Dayanand Sopte, North Goa Collector IAS; Ajit Roy, ZP members, Sarpanchas were also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister also distributed sanction orders to covid relief beneficiaries under the Ex gratia relief fund to the families of Covid 19 victims and also held a review meeting with Swayampurna Mitra’s
