PANAJI: Caloshma Andrade, Sonika Lotlikar and Disha Naik won the first, second and third prize respectively at the coconut sweet dish presentation competition 2024 organised by the Prime Media Goa in association with Department of Information and Publicity and EDC Limited at EDC hall, Panaji on the occasion of World Coconut Day on Friday.
Total number of fifty participants from all over Goa took part in the competition and presented their sweet dishes made of coconut, which is a staple food of Goa.
Judges chef Vinayak Bandodkar and chef Dwipen Goswami judged the contest and selected first three winners as first winner Caloshma named their dish as ‘zestful delights’, second winner Sonika Lotlikar as ‘Coco Zai and third winner Disha Naik as ‘Choco Coco Bliss Bites’.
Chief guest at the prize distribution function EDC MD Balchandra Pai Angle awarded prizes to the winners in the presence of Prime Media Goa editor in chief Sandeep Kerkar, EDC joint MD B S Borkar, Prime TV event orgnaniser Nikita Volvoikar, Prime TV’s Television producer Alisha Fernandes, marketing manager Nikil Naik, administrative manager Dikshit Korgaonkar and cameraman Raju Venkatesh.
