The Aam Aadmi Party’s #BJPCheBurak campaign has awakend the BJP government which is busy in making defected Congress MLAs ministers. After months of neglect, the government has now rushed to begin road repair work in an haphazard which is more like damage control than actual work.
Majorda railway station road where AAP leaders had protested was taken up by the govt to start filling the potholes
In Agarvaddo, Mandrem after AAP leaders protest within few hours the govt sent workers to fill the potholes but the work was so shoddy it could cause bikes to slip.

Fontainhas, Panjim to 4 Pillar Circle, St Cruz road was were the #BJPCheBurak campaign was launched has also seen work being started by the BJP govt. The quality of work being done however is questionable.
The very locations where AAP delegations had exposed pothole-ridden roads have seen the awakend govt in action.
On Thursday, while addressing the media, AAP President Adv. Amit Palekar said, “People were suffering due to poor roads. There were accidents. People lost lives. But the BJP government never acted. Only when AAP hit the streets with #BJPCheBurak did the government finally wake up and start repairing roads.”
Palekar pointed out that in Panaji, the very spot where AAP launched the campaign and exposed potholes was seen getting “temporarily fixed” on Thursday.
He added, “It’s been just five days and our campaign has gained momentum. Many volunteers have joined us. Our helpline has already received hundreds of photos and videos of pothole-ridden roads. This is the power of people’s voice. If we don’t raise our voice, nothing gets fixed.”
Palekar, however, cautioned that these repairs are nothing but a quick fix. “The government is repeating its pre-monsoon patchwork style. This will not last. They are wasting taxpayers’ money with repeated tenders, while Goans are left with bad roads.”
AAP General Secretary (Organisation) Shrikrishna Parab said, “We have received hundreds of photos of potholes from across Goa. The number is huge. But we will ensure these roads are fixed. Roads should be properly tarred before the rains, but every year the BJP government gives excuses while Goans suffer.”
He further added, “We don’t need temporary patchwork. This time, we demand that the Chief Minister ensure permanent and quality road repairs, not just a quick fix for headlines. We will continue #BJPCheBurak until every pothole is filled, and we will ensure this BJP government does it.”

AAP General Secretary Shrikrishna Parab, Leader Adv Prasad Shahpurkar, Women wing leader Suvarna Haramlkar had protested against a pathetic road in Agarvaddo, Mandrem.
while addressing after inspecting the work Parab said “Crores of funds allocated for pre monsoon work has vanished in thin air. after our protest in different areas of Goa they have finally awakend and started work after our pressure but we dont aceept such shoddy work. BJP will have to enusre all the potholes are filled properly and we will force the CM to fill potholes all over the Goa”
Thank you,
