That on 06/06/2025 Shri Top Bahadur K.C. S/o Liladar Khatri, R/o C/o Maria Velho, H/o Kashu Velho r/o near Fernadnes Bakery, Bhatlem Panaji, Tiswadi Goa N/o ward No 7, Dang Shanti Nagar, Nepal lodged his complaint to the effect that on between 04/06/2025 at 23.00 hrs to 05.30 hrs of 05/06/2025 at near Fernandes Bakery, Bhatlem Panaji Goa, unknown male accused person effected entry into the complainant’s rented room, and committed theft of complainant’s wife mobile phone of make Redmi A3x(IMEI No. 8674660785596306) W/Rs 10,000/-, which was kept for charging near the door and bag containing Rs 9000/- all W/Rs 19,000/- approx.. In this connection an offence vide Panaji PS Crime No. 87/2025 U/s 331(4), 305 of BNS 2023 was registered.
Panaji Town Police Station through their sources and meticulous planning and intelligence collected the information through CCTV footage and apprehended accused person namely Chandrakant Krishna Kenavdekar, age 65 years R/o H. No. 102, Indira Nagar Chimbel Tiswadi Goa and recovered the stolen articles from the possession of accused.
The investigation revealed that accused Chandrakant Kenavdekar, is a Historysheeter and having number of cases against him at Old Goa Police Station of similar nature.
