SECURITY GUARD ARRESTED FOR THEFT AT VERNA
VASCO: Verna police arrested security guard Ajay Kumar Nanda (36), a native of Odisha for stealing copper wires from the same factory which he was guarding.
The police registered FIR upon the complainant of Ssanjay Ahire, CEO of Emmessairo Aircon Company situated at Verna Industrial Estate, who stated that on 1st February, unknown person/s committed theft of copper moulded tubes worth Rs 25,000.
Accordingly, a case was registered under section of 379 of Indian Penal Code.
During investigation, the police arrested Ajay Kumar Nanda currently staying in a rented room at Verna for last 17 years. He was the security guard of the company. And was working for last 45 days.
The police recovered all the stolen property from the accused.
