A photo session was held today at Bambolim with Shri Ajay Gaude, Executive Director of Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) along with Adv. Priyanka Naik, President of the Weightlifting Association of Goa, and Mr. Sujit Chimbolkar, Secretary (WAG) to congratulate and encourage the Goa women’s weightlifting team selected for the Asmita Khelo India West Zone Women’s Weightlifting League 2025–26, scheduled from 15th to 19th December 2025 in Kota, Rajasthan.
In his address, Shri Ajay Gaude encouraged the athletes to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to excellence. He emphasized the importance of hard work, perseverance, and sportsmanship, and motivated the athletes to give their best performance while upholding the values of fair play and teamwork. The brief yet inspiring interaction boosted the morale of the athletes and reinforced their determination to achieve success.
