Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Media Chairman Amarnath Panjikar on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on AAP leader Atishi, calling her nothing more than a puppet of the BJP, shamelessly working to malign Congress while her own party drowns in corruption.
“Atishi has been reduced to a BJP agent, busy spitting venom against Congress only to please her masters in the BJP. Her desperation is nothing but an attempt to cover up the massive Delhi Liquor Scam in which AAP leaders are neck-deep. Instead of answering the nation on corruption, she is barking at Congress to divert attention,” Panjikar said.
He added that the “unholy BJP–AAP nexus” has now been fully exposed. “In Delhi, AAP looted public money through liquor scams; in Goa, they acted as vote-cutters only to help BJP. Today, Atishi is dancing to the BJP’s tune because her leaders are terrified of arrest. She should remember—no amount of drama, lies, or propaganda will save them from the law,” he charged.
Panjikar further stated that AAP has lost every moral right to speak on corruption. “A party born out of anti-corruption movements has today become the biggest symbol of corruption. Atishi’s shameless attacks on Congress only prove one thing—AAP is now BJP’s B-team,” he concluded.
“I want to remind the people of Goa—BJP and AAP are hand-in-glove. Both have betrayed Goans, both are partners in corruption, and both must be rejected. Congress alone stands firm to fight for truth, justice, and the people of Goa.”
