Girish Chodankar, AICC Incharge, addressing a massive “Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod” state-level rally in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, emphasized the state’s historical role in resistance and defending democracy. “Tamil Nadu, a land of resistance since the freedom struggle, will once again lead India in defending democracy against electoral fraud,” he asserted.

Chodankar highlighted the significance of every vote, stating, “Every stolen vote is not just an attack on democracy, it’s theft of your dream, your dignity, and your decision.” He emphasized the need for citizens to be guardians of India’s soul, as “democracy cannot breathe freely in Tirunelveli or anywhere in India if it’s murdered in Delhi.”

Chodankar criticized the BJP, saying they view democracy as a game of numbers, whereas the Congress party believes it’s a game of courage and Tamil Nadu has never lacked courage said Chodankar.
He further said, Elections must be about the people’s verdict, not the ruling party’s manipulation. Tamil Nadu will show India how to protect that verdict.
The future of India will not be written in secret offices of the Election Commission—it will be written in the open hearts of its citizens
