
In a unique celebration of the bond between siblings and Nation four students from PM SHRI Government High School Morpirla, Daksh Velip, Priyanshu Velip, Ranjisha Gaonkar, and Ridhi Velip, along with Headmistress Maria Murena Miranda a National Awardee visited Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. The students were thrilled and excited to experience the festivities of Raksha bandhan.
Headmistress, Maria Murena Miranda attended At Home Reception by the President on Independence day in last August.The Headmistress expressed her joy in seeing the students celebrate this special occasion.”It is a golden opportunity to see our students from a tribal village of Morpirla, experience the cultural significance of Raksha Bandhan at Rashtrapati bhavan she said.
The students also had the opportunity to visit Amrit Udya, enjoying the beauty and vibrant flora of the gardens, which added to the richness of their experience at The Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The students expressed their sincere gratitude to the President, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, the Ministry of Education, Government of India, the Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, the Director of Education, Sir Shailesh Zingde, and the State Project Director, Goa Samagra Shiksha, Dr. S.S. Ghadi.
The visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan was a memorable experience for the students, and they will always treasure the precious moments spent with the President of India.
