1,03,804 CHILDREN ADMINISTERED POLIO DROPS IN GOA ON SUNDAY
PANAJI: As many as 1,03,804 below five years of age were administered Polio drops across Goa on Sunday, informed Director of Health Services Dr Jose D’Sa.
In North Goa district, 45,016 children were given Polio drops and 58,788 children were administered Polio drops in South Goa district.
All these children were immunized at 641 Polio Booths across Goa.
The Directorate of Health Services had estimated 1,04,122 children for Pulse Polio Immunization programme, as part of Government’s drive to achieve Polio Free status of the country.
