Today, we had the honour of distributing specially fitted side-wheel scooters to persons with disabilities from Honda Panchayat β a step towards making mobility more inclusive. This initiative was made possible through the Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) and funded by the North Goa District Mineral Foundation (NGDMF).
This is more than just mobility; itβs about unlocking opportunities, building confidence, and empowering individuals to take charge of their own journeys. We are deeply committed to creating a Goa where everyone, regardless of physical ability, has the tools and support to thrive.
The program was graced in the presence of Smt. Varsha Naik, Director, DEPwD, Shri Ratnakar Govenkar, Member Secretary, NGDMFT/ Dy. Director Mines & Geology, Shri Gauresh A. Pilgaonkar, Managing Director, GEDA, Shri Sanjeev S.
